Mr. Ross has over 27 years in the exploration and mining industry in North America. Jan has extensive experience in both exploration and mining, starting as geologist assistant after graduating from high school. He then became a driller in Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling working in exploration camps in northern Canada. After twelve years working and running exploration camps Jan joined Cominco Ltd where he worked at the Con and Polaris Mines in the North West Terri Tories (Nunavat). After working in Cominco's exploration programs he began his mine training in both mechanized and coventional mining operations were he obtained his class one miners status. After leaving Cominco Jan started his own drilling & mining company(Drilltech) that delineated and mined smaller high grade mineral deposits for tenure holders prior to joining Alliance Mining Corp. Jan also sits on other Public and Private Companies Board of Directors.
Bruce J. Nicholson, CFA®, has spent 15 years as an industry specialist in the basic materials and metals and mining industries working for major U.S. and European global banks, broker dealers, investment funds, and producers of physical commodities. During his career, Mr. Nicholson has worked for Bank of New York, Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, and Citigroup. Most recently, he has worked as a financial consultant to a number of publicly traded small cap companies in the bio-degradable plastics, oil and gas, and uranium industries. Mr. Nicholson was Chairman of the New York Section of the Society for Mining Exploration (SME) from 2007-08 and a member of the Minerals Economics and Management Society (MEMS), Minerals Industry Analyst Group (MRAG), and New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA). Mr. Nicholson graduated with a M.B.A. degree in Finance from Rutgers University in 1995 and is a CFAâ charterholder. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are trademarks owned by CFA Institute.
William R. Wilson’s corporate experience includes creating and managing twelve mining companies over 25 years as a director, officer and/or CEO with mines and properties in the United States, Canada, Russia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ukraine. Most recently he has been President and COO of New Horizon Uranium Corporation (NHU-V, Toronto Venture Exchange) and previously was President of Basin Perlite Company from October 1999 to January 2004; President & CEO of Banro Corporation from January 2001 to 2004 and Vice President – Mining of Tonogold Resources, Inc. from April 2004 to August 2005. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a Metallurgical Engineering degree and of the University of Southern California with a MBA. Mr. Wilson is a member of the AuslMM, the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America, the Canadian Institute of Mining and the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration. He is also an instructor at the Colorado School of Mines in mining and industrial minerals. Mr. Wilson is a director and chairs the audit committees of BRC DiamondCore Ltd. (BCD-V) and Loncor Resources Inc. (LN-V) both traded on the Toronto Venture Stock Exchange.
Mr. Snider brings valuable experience to the Company from working in the mining iindustry in the South Western States. Travis is Senior Vice President of PTX Engineering Services a Mine Engineering Company. Travis has worked for several major mine engineering companies as well he worked for Phelps Dodge in exploration and as a plant manager. Travis has a B.S in Environmental Chemistry from Arizona State University.
Mr. Gurney received his BA in chemistry from the University of British Columbia, and then spent 10 years with Canadian Industries Ltd. in the production of commercial high explosives, first as a chemist, and later as production supervisor. In 1979, Bert became a Financial Advisor with Midland Walwyn where he worked until his retirement in 1985.
